Submit a manuscript for the forthcoming thematic collection on absolute sustainability in the Design Science Journal
Following the absolute sustainability conference "From Less Bad to Good Enough" in 2025, we are very pleased to announce a forthcoming thematic collection "Design Science for Absolute Sustainability: towards systemic ecological and societal impact" in the Design Science Journal. The special issue builds directly on the themes, discussions, and research directions shared during the conference.
The aim of the special issue is to advance design science research that engages with absolute sustainability perspectives, including but not limited to theory development, methodological advances, empirical studies, and design interventions that address sustainability within planetary boundaries.

This timeline is intended to allow sufficient time for manuscript development following the conference discussions. Submissions will follow the standard peer-review process of the Design Science Journal.
