The inaugural conference of the DTU Centre for Absolute Sustainability took place from the 30th September - 2nd October 2025 at Konventum, Helsingør, Denmark. 

The conference theme, "From Less Bad To Good Enough" explored the paradigm shift from relative to absolute sustainability. The sub-themes, rooted in the centre's three main research pillars, were Systemic Modelling, Systematic Engineering and Strategic Implementation.

This conference welcomed over 200 researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers from both Denmark and around the world. Participants engaged in a dynamic program of keynote speeches, research presentations, and interactive sessions aimed at fostering collaboration, exchanging insights, and mainstreaming absolute sustainability in decision-making.
