Circularity readiness as a pathway for Absolute Sustainability: A systematic approach for Circular Economy transition

This seminar takes us through three topics: research, teaching and scaling connected to Circular Economy and the ready2LOOP platform.

Research done on Circular Economy at DTU Construct , has Tim McAloone , Daniela Pigosso and Giovana Monteiro Gomes heading this – where the ready2LOOP project is the current biggest carrier of both research results and industry collaboration on the topic.

•  RESEARCH: The research is thoroughly carried out following a strong scientific methodology. Including industry validation workshops to ensure the terminology and relevance of the results.
•  EDUCATION: Teaching Circular Economy at DTU – uses read2LOOP as a backbone, and together with its practice-based approach of including real-world company cases, pioneering education around circular economy.    
• SCALING: A core focus on scaling activities connected to the research platform has made it possible to increase its outreach to industry, via an on-demand software license and training collaboration model between DTU and Consultancies.
