How do we communicate sustainability science in a way that is both scientifically grounded and genuinely engaging?
Join us for our lunch seminar: From eye rolls to engagement: The challenges of communicating (absolute) sustainability science.
At the DTU Centre for Absolute Sustainability, we work with the urgent question of how societies can operate within planetary boundaries. But even the strongest science does not create change on its own. It needs to be communicated clearly, responsibly and in ways that different audiences can understand, trust and act upon.
This event explores one of the most difficult tensions in sustainability communication: How do we stay faithful to scientific complexity, while reaching people who are busy, sceptical, or tired of yet another sustainability message?
Together with researchers and communication experts, we will discuss how absolute sustainability can be communicated across audiences, from researchers and professionals to decision makers, media and the wider public.
