Seminar
Is my life sustainable? What a life within Planetary Boundaries may (or may not) look like
How can we live our lives and stay within the planetary boundaries?
"Staying within the Planetary Boundaries is to live in a better world, in a world at peace" Teddy Serrano
This seminar's key points are:
- Planetary boundaries should guide all societal change.
- Transparency in the use of data and methodology is key to creating trust
- Individual actions make a difference. Lead by example!
- The triangle of Inaction " the other first": the individuals, the private sector, and the institutions.
- One solution might show great reductions in CO2 emissions but increase resource consumption, an absolute perspective is needed.
Climate budget: worldwide, we have a 2.2 tons of CO2 budget per person, to cover all our needs. This requires radical changes. It also demands a core focus on world inequalities.
